ASTRA Food Processing Plant Co. (AFPPCO) was established in 1997 to fully exploit surplus of agricultural materials from ASTRA Farms and other farms in the region. The company was the first to provide a totally “Home-made” processed food in the Kingdom. We have multi production lines from pickles, jams, potato chips, to frozen products like vegetables and French fries and our newly Ready Cut Fresh Vegetables.
AFPPCO has been successful over the past few years, thanks to the unwavering efforts of its management and staff who have effectively contributed to the dynamic growth and development of the company's operation to meet the challenges of the future.
Recently, the company has acquired modern machineries and equipments to be able serve the needs of its customer by providing the best quality products using the highest technological advancement available.
As an evidence of our commitment for excellence, we have successfully obtained the certification for ISO 9001:2000 and recently we have started to develop a Food Safety Management System (HACCP) to ensure that our products being produced are free from any contamination and safe for consumption.
We, vow to maintain our current excellent standards as we strive for continuous improvement and development.
